The association Danse Ivoire Diaspora – DID – and the company Ange Aoussou are organising the second edition of the International Dance Biennial in Côte d’Ivoire, from 23 to 30 September 2023.
The festival is conceived as a platform for the dissemination of performances by Ivorian and international artists in order to revitalise the dance sector and participate in a greater professionalisation.
Within the framework of this event, the organising associations are launching a call for participation for the programming of shows;
Applications are open to individual artists and groups in the following disciplines: Heritage dance, urban dance, contemporary dance. Projects will be selected by a jury of artists, theatres and partner institutions on the basis of artistic quality and uniqueness.
The representation of diversity in the projects could be a plus.
Diversity representation within projects could be a plus.
